The Pelican Community and Function Centre aims to provide an affordable venue for diverse community groups. It is suitable for a range of activities, including classes, dinners, and parties.

It was the early Church that said: “The Glory of God is the human person fully alive.” We are a community working towards a fully flourishing humanity, alive to beauty, dignity and love.

The Church of the Resurrection is centrally located in Perth’s western suburbs. We offer a friendly, welcoming, and dignified church wedding ceremony in a unique, inspiring location.

Service times

Sung Mass on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, except for the fourth Sunday of every month, when we celebrate at 5pm. Followed by refreshments in the Pelican Centre.

Celebratory Choral Mass featuring the Mapstone Scholars on the fourth Sunday of each month at 5:00 pm, followed by food and wine.

Midweek Mass All are welcome to join our celebration of the Eucharist at 9am on Wednesday mornings.

Morning and evening prayers are said at 9am and 4pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Churchlands Community Orchestra -FREE Event at CotR

The Violin Project - Our Youth in Concert - Fundraiser

The Mapstone Scholars and friends in Concert - August 20th - CotR

Supporting the Church of the Resurrection's music programme. Enjoy and evening of musical delights in the stunning acoustic of the Church of the Resurrection, Swanbourne. Featuring performances by The Mapstone Scholars, Simon Gray (Piano/Organ), Sylvie Carolin-Unkovich (Trumpet), Magdalena Lisek (Soprano), Sophie Nickel (Viola), Holly Broadbent (Piano) and Luis Tasso Santos (Clarinet). 7:30pm Saturday 20th August. Junior Choir Auditions

Monday 31 October, 6:00 pm
The Anglican Parish of Swanbourne - Mt Claremont, who are pleased to announce the addition of two new children’s choirs to our musical program. The parish is well known for music of a high standard and has had a professional adult choir for several years. The church building is widely considered to have one of the best acoustics in the Perth area and is extensively used as a concert venue. The new choirs we are now establishing are open to boys and girls aged 8-18, and will provide young musicians with professional training in choral singing, with particular focus on sight reading, musicianship and vocal technique. This experience aims to challenge and extend students who show exceptional aptitude for music, and will greatly complement their existing learning in classroom music or instrumental lessons. The choirs will consist of a Junior Choir (ages 8-12), of unbroken treble voices, and a Senior Choir (ages 13-18) which will be an SATB ensemble. The Junior and Senior choirs will provide music for Sunday services approximately twice a month. Members will be expected to attend a weekly afternoon rehearsal, and will have opportunities to participate in concerts and sing with our adult musicians on special occasions.
